A church history board records: St Thomas More Catholic Church - Built by Mr Kieran Power in 1925, The St Thomas More Catholic Church used jarrah timber from the nearby Claymore mill. In the late 1930s a Convent and St Joseph's School were built at the side and rear of the Church. The school closed in the 1950s but the Sisters remained in residence until the late 1960s. The buildings were later removed and taken to Busselton, where they are still in use at the Catholic Youth Camp on the beachfront.

The St Thomas More Catholic Church, Nannup is in the Parish of Nannup and the Diocese of Bunbury. The church building was erected in 1925. In 1930 a convent and school were built behind the church but these were closed in the 1950s and the buildings relocated to the Catholic Youth Camp in Busselton. No other details are known.
