The present St Saviour's Anglican Church, Wyalkatchem, is part of the Parish of Wyalkatchem-Koorda and the Diocese of Perth. The present church building was consecrated on 31/3/1960, and is the second church building on the site. The first was a wooden structure, the disused St Saviour's church building from Kanowna, (see separate entry - 6431) which was bought by the Rev F M Oliver, and re-erected, about 1927, at Wyalkatchem.
